First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tests if wearing a mild cooling device for 30 minutes can temporarily reduce the loudness and annoyance of chronic tinnitus (ringing in the ears). 80 adults with constant tinnitus will use the device once at home and report their symptoms. Researchers will compare their results to a control group to see if the cooling therapy provides relief.
