First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This small study looked at 5 children aged 7-13 with a condition called Molar-Incisor Hypomineralization (MIH), which causes weak enamel and tooth sensitivity. Researchers restored the damaged molars with a special glass-hybrid filling and measured changes in bite force and chewing muscle activity using digital tools. The goal was to see if treatment improves how the teeth and jaw muscles work together.
