New Nerve-Zapping technique offers hope for tough migraines

NCT ID NCT06894121

Summary

This study is testing two ways of performing a nerve treatment to help people with frequent migraines. Doctors use ultrasound to guide a special device that delivers gentle electrical pulses to a nerve in the back of the head, aiming to reduce headache frequency and pain. The research will compare doing this on one side versus both sides to see which is more effective and safer for patients who haven't gotten enough relief from standard medications.
