Can Role-Playing make better midwives? study tests training methods

NCT ID NCT07229183

Summary

This study tested two different training methods to help midwifery students improve their family planning counseling skills and their ability to create educational materials. Researchers compared students who practiced with trained actors (standardized patients) or with fellow students (peer simulation) against a group that received traditional classroom training. The goal was to see which method better prepared students for real-world counseling situations.
