Can a Midwife's training stop preventable baby deaths?

NCT ID NCT07346482

Summary

This study aims to see if a special safety training program led by midwives can help first-time pregnant women learn how to prevent sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) and home accidents. The researchers will give the training to 60 women and compare their knowledge to 60 women who do not receive it. If effective, this training could become a standard part of prenatal care to help keep babies safe.
