Talking it out: midwife sessions may ease pregnancy stress for couples
NCT ID NCT07663812
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether motivational interviews led by midwives can lower stress and alexithymia (trouble identifying feelings) in pregnant women and their partners. About 140 couples will be split into two groups: one gets the motivational sessions, the other does not. Researchers will measure changes using standard stress and emotion scales before and after the intervention.
