Summary
This study aimed to understand what causes compassion fatigue—a state of emotional exhaustion—in midwives. Researchers surveyed 209 licensed midwives to identify risk factors and create a tool to predict who is most at risk. The goal is to help healthcare managers identify midwives needing support early on, so they can provide help and prevent burnout.
