NCT ID NCT03591510
Summary
This study is testing the safety and effectiveness of adding a drug called midostaurin to standard chemotherapy for children newly diagnosed with a specific genetic type of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). It involves 22 children and aims to see if this combination can better control the cancer and keep it from coming back. The trial has two parts: first finding the right dose, and then seeing how well that dose works.
