Could a finger prick replace hospital blood draws for cancer patients?

NCT ID NCT06545292

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study checks if a simple finger-prick blood test (dried blood spot) can accurately measure levels of certain cancer drugs in the body. Researchers will compare results from the finger-prick method with standard blood draws. If successful, patients may be able to monitor their drug levels from home, reducing hospital visits.
