Could vitamin d boost hair regrowth after microneedling?
NCT ID NCT07243977
Summary
This study compares two treatments for patchy hair loss (alopecia areata). One group gets microneedling alone, where tiny needles create micro-injuries to stimulate the scalp. The other gets microneedling plus topical vitamin D3, which may help calm the immune attack on hair follicles. Researchers will see which approach leads to more complete hair regrowth over several months.
