Could microneedling and UV light restore skin color in vitiligo?
NCT ID NCT07548918
First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study compares two treatments for stable vitiligo: microneedling with a topical solution (minoxidil 5%) alone versus the same treatment plus narrow-band UVB phototherapy. Thirty adults with stable non-segmental vitiligo will be enrolled. The goal is to see if adding UV light improves repigmentation and increases certain skin markers.
