Can microneedling and UV light restore skin color in vitiligo?

NCT ID NCT07548918

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study compares two treatments for stable vitiligo: microneedling with a topical solution (minoxidil) alone versus microneedling with the same solution plus narrow-band UV light therapy. Thirty adults with stable non-segmental vitiligo will be enrolled. The goal is to see if adding UV light improves repigmentation and increases certain skin markers. This is not a cure but aims to better control the condition.
