New dressing tested for deep, tunneled wounds

NCT ID NCT06629506

Summary

This study tested a wound dressing called MicroMatrix Flex for people with wounds that have deep tunnels or pockets underneath the skin. It involved 25 adults with hard-to-heal wounds like pressure sores, diabetic foot ulcers, or surgical wounds. Researchers checked how well the dressing helped close these complex wounds and tracked any safety issues over 12 to 16 weeks.
