Zap your stretch marks? study tests electric current for skin

NCT ID NCT07455669

Summary

This study tested whether adding a mild electric current (microgalvanic) to a standard microneedling treatment could improve how women feel about their bodies and their quality of life when they have white stretch marks. 61 women aged 20-35 were randomly assigned to receive either microneedling alone or microneedling with the electric current over 10 weekly sessions. Researchers measured changes in body satisfaction, quality of life, and the physical appearance of the stretch marks.
