Gentler sperm prep may boost IVF success

NCT ID NCT07093619

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tests a new way to prepare sperm for IVF that uses a gentle flow of fluid instead of spinning it in a machine. The goal is to see if this method picks healthier sperm, leading to more normal embryos and higher pregnancy rates. About 100 couples will take part, using both the new and standard methods on eggs from the same cycle to compare results.
