Hidden cells from sons or brothers may hold key to recurrent miscarriages
NCT ID NCT05340556
First seen Nov 25, 2025 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at 32 women with recurrent pregnancy loss to see if cells from their firstborn son or older brother could be found in their blood. Researchers used special tests to detect male DNA and figure out where the cells came from. The goal was to gather information for a larger study, not to provide treatment.
