First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests if making tiny holes in the jawbone (micro-osteoperforations) can speed up teeth straightening with clear aligners. 30 adults with crowded lower front teeth will either get aligners alone or aligners plus the bone-drilling technique. Researchers will measure how fast teeth move and how much pain patients feel.
