Summary
This study looks at whether teaching nursing students motivational interviewing—a way of talking that helps people change their behavior—can improve their counseling skills and confidence. 72 second-year nursing students will be split into two groups: one gets the special training, the other gets standard communication lessons. The goal is to see if the new approach reduces reluctance to talk with patients and boosts self-efficacy.
