Can your phone fight your desk job health risks?
NCT ID NCT04347096
Summary
This study tested a 12-week phone app and activity tracker program designed to help office workers improve their diet, increase physical activity, and reduce long periods of sitting. Researchers compared the app to usual care in 101 workers to see if it improved health markers like blood sugar and cholesterol, and if it was cost-effective. The goal was to find a sustainable way to lower the risk of chronic diseases linked to sedentary jobs.
