NCT ID NCT07272707
First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study checks if a set of thinking and drawing tests (called PHES) can find minimal hepatic encephalopathy—a mild form of brain fog—in people with stable liver cirrhosis. About 150 patients and 150 healthy volunteers will take the tests to see how well they detect early cognitive problems. The goal is to catch these issues before they get worse, helping doctors intervene sooner.
