Summary
This study tested a special dialysis machine (MEX-CD1) designed to remove extra copper from the blood of people with Wilson's disease, a genetic condition that causes copper buildup. The trial planned to enroll patients aged 10 to 80, but was terminated after only one participant. The goal was to see if the device safely and effectively lowers copper levels.
