Blue dye offers new hope for untreatable skin cancer
NCT ID NCT07311057
Summary
This study is testing whether a blue-colored liquid or ointment called methylene blue can shrink tumors and help wounds heal in people with advanced skin cancer who cannot have surgery or radiation. Participants will apply the treatment to their skin every other day for a month, and researchers will track changes in the tumor and overall health for six months. The goal is to find a new, non-invasive option for patients with limited treatment choices.
