Electric current vs gel: new test for skin repigmentation
NCT ID NCT07208890
Summary
This small pilot study is testing two ways to apply the drug methotrexate directly to vitiligo patches to see if it helps restore skin color. Thirty adults with stable vitiligo will either use a gel or receive the drug through their skin using a mild electric current for eight weeks. Researchers will measure changes in the size of the patches and check participants' quality of life and liver health.
