Summary

This study looks at whether making it easier for people to get methadone to take at home (instead of going to a clinic every day) helps them stay in treatment for opioid use disorder. The researchers will work with 36 clinics to help them offer more take-home doses. About 318 adults who have been on methadone for at least 30 days will take part. The goal is to see if this approach improves retention and reduces hospital visits.
