Summary
This study is testing whether low-dose metformin, a common diabetes drug, can safely improve fibromyalgia symptoms like pain and fatigue. Researchers think metformin may reduce inflammation in the nervous system. The study will enroll 72 adults with fibromyalgia and compare metformin to a placebo over several weeks.
