Nursing students enter the metaverse to fight bedsores

Summary
This study aims to see if a new, game-like training program in a virtual world (the metaverse) can help nursing students learn how to prevent and manage painful bedsores better than standard classroom lessons. Sixty second-year nursing students will be split into two groups: one will try the new metaverse training, and the other will receive traditional teaching. Researchers will measure the students' knowledge and confidence before, right after, and one month after the training to see which method works better.
