Students step into virtual world to learn Hands-On skills

NCT ID NCT07166705

Summary

This study aims to see if teaching physiotherapy students in a 3D virtual world (the metaverse) improves their motivation and helps them learn a specific hands-on skill called palpation better than traditional methods. Researchers will randomly assign 48 student volunteers to either learn in the metaverse or through standard distance learning. The main goal is to compare student motivation and their scores on a final exam about the skill.
