Which pin works best for broken foot bones? new study aims to find out.

This study compares two surgical techniques for fixing broken metatarsal bones in the foot: transverse pinning and antegrade intramedullary pinning. About 40 adults with displaced fractures will be randomly assigned to one method. Researchers will measure bone healing time, foot function, and pain to see which approach works better.
