Scientists track Food's journey in obese adults

Summary
This study aims to better understand how the bodies of adults with obesity process protein and sugar. Eight participants will drink special, non-radioactive 'labeled' beverages on two separate visits. Researchers will collect blood, breath, urine, and small muscle samples to track how these nutrients are used for energy or stored.
