First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looked at two different exercise methods—muscle energy techniques and Pilates—to see which works better for people with long-term low back pain. 72 adults aged 20 to 50 took part, doing 60-minute sessions four times a week for six weeks. Both groups reported less pain and better physical function, showing that either approach can help manage back pain without medication.
