Can a simple message campaign help smokers cut back?

NCT ID NCT06787937

Summary

This study is testing whether a messaging campaign about low-nicotine cigarettes, combined with using those cigarettes, helps adult smokers reduce their smoking. Researchers will compare two groups: one that receives the cigarettes plus the messages, and one that receives only the cigarettes. The goal is to see if the combination leads to smoking fewer cigarettes per day.
