Tiny skin injections tested to ease stubborn neck pain

NCT ID NCT07462988

Summary

This study tested which type of mesotherapy—a treatment using very small injections just under the skin—works best for chronic neck pain. Researchers compared four different injection mixtures, including one with just saline and one with no liquid at all, in 80 adults with long-term neck pain. The goal was to see which approach most effectively reduced pain and helped people function better in their daily lives over three months.
