New study tests Mesh-Free option for bladder leak surgery

Summary
This study compares two surgeries for stress urinary incontinence (leaking urine when coughing or sneezing) in women. One uses a synthetic mesh sling, the other repairs natural tissue without mesh. Researchers want to see if the mesh-free option works as well and causes fewer problems. About 147 women will take part and be followed for 6 weeks after surgery.
