Study tracks women for years after prolapse surgery to see if mesh holds up

NCT ID NCT06296316

Summary

This study aimed to track the long-term safety and effectiveness of a specific surgical mesh (Restorelle) used to repair pelvic organ prolapse. It followed 39 women for up to 8 years after their routine surgery to see how well the mesh worked, if they needed more surgeries, and how it affected their symptoms and quality of life. The goal was to gather real-world data on patient outcomes over many years.
