New therapy aims to help troubled teens control aggression

Summary
This study is testing whether a new type of talk therapy, called mentalization-based therapy, can help young people (ages 10-17) who struggle with aggressive or violent behavior. It will compare the new therapy, which helps youth understand their own and others' feelings, to the standard support already offered by specialized mental health services. The goal is to find better ways to help these vulnerable young people manage their behavior and improve their lives.
