New toolkit aims to bridge mental health gap for autistic teens

Summary
This pilot study aims to improve mental health treatment for autistic individuals. Researchers will first hold focus groups to understand barriers to care, then develop a resource for therapists. The toolkit will be tested in a community clinic with 18 autistic teens aged 13-17 who also have a mental health condition.
