New therapy aims to rebuild lives through meaningful activities
NCT ID NCT03963245
Summary
This study tested whether adding a special eight-month occupational therapy program to standard mental health care helps people with mental illness. The program, called 'Meaningful Activities and Recovery,' focused on helping participants engage in daily activities that matter to them personally. Researchers compared this program plus standard care against standard care alone to see which better improved activity engagement, personal recovery, functioning, and quality of life.
