Can a free phone app ease the college mental health crisis?
NCT ID NCT07331922
Summary
This study is testing whether a free smartphone app called 'Landing Place' can improve mental wellness and reduce stress for college students. Researchers will compare 160 Penn State Behrend students, with one group using the app daily for four weeks and another group not using it at all. The goal is to see if the app's mindfulness exercises, mood tracking, and other features actually help students feel better and function better in their daily lives.
