Summary
This study aimed to understand if giving trauma patients an educational handout about mental health resources would make them feel more confident about getting support. Researchers surveyed 93 English-speaking adults who had experienced a traumatic injury. The main goal was to see if the handout improved patients' awareness and knowledge about how to address mental health needs after their injury.
