Mind over muscle: can thinking about movement heal your shoulder faster?
NCT ID NCT05670080
Summary
This study is testing whether a mental exercise called 'motor imagery' can help people recover better from rotator cuff shoulder surgery. It will involve 36 patients who have had the surgery. One group will do standard physical therapy, while the other will add a program where they mentally imagine performing shoulder movements, to see if it reduces pain, improves muscle activity, and increases shoulder function.
