New training helps blind women manage periods with confidence

Summary
This study tested a face-to-face training program based on social learning theory to help visually impaired young women ages 15-30 improve their menstrual hygiene and self-care skills. 32 participants were split into two groups; one received the training and the other did not. After 9 months, the trained group showed better hygiene behaviors and menstrual symptom management compared to the control group.
