NCT ID NCT07306533

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at whether the phase of a woman's menstrual cycle changes how well dental numbing works for treating a painful tooth condition called pulpitis. About 150 women aged 20-40 with regular cycles will receive a standard numbing shot, and their pain will be measured. The goal is to see if certain cycle phases lead to more failed anesthesia, which could help dentists personalize care.
