Can timing exercise to your period prevent serious knee injuries?
NCT ID NCT06983184
Summary
This study is testing whether matching a strength and balance training program to a female athlete's menstrual cycle can better prevent serious knee (ACL) injuries. It involves about 212 high school athletes aged 14-19 who play sports like soccer or basketball. Participants wear a ring to track their cycle and complete an 8-week training program, with some following a cycle-synced schedule and others a standard schedule.
