Could your period affect surgery sickness? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT07242209
Summary
This study aims to understand if a woman's menstrual cycle phase is linked to her risk of feeling nauseous or vomiting after nose surgery. Researchers will observe 60 women having routine surgery to see if nausea is more common during certain cycle phases. They will also check if a standard anesthesia drug called sugammadex changes this potential link.
