New study tracks meningitis vaccine safety in pregnancy

Summary

This study monitors the safety of the MenQuadfi vaccine when given to pregnant women or within 30 days before their last period. Researchers will track side effects in mothers and health outcomes in babies, including birth defects and complications. About 50 women in the U.S. will participate to help ensure the vaccine is safe during pregnancy.
