Herbal remedy and rehab tech tested to speed knee surgery recovery
NCT ID NCT07273032
Summary
This study aims to see if a combination of a traditional Chinese herbal medicine (Henggu Bone Injury Healing Agent) and a specialized lower-limb rehabilitation training system can help people recover better after knee surgery for a torn meniscus. It will involve 120 adults who have had this surgery, comparing four groups: one getting the herbal medicine, one using the rehab system, one getting both, and one getting neither. The main goal is to see which approach best reduces pain and improves knee function, strength, and movement over six months.
