New knee repair tool put to the test

NCT ID NCT04903106

Summary

This study checked the safety and performance of the FAST-FIX FLEX device, a tool surgeons use to repair torn knee cartilage (meniscus) or to transplant donor cartilage. It followed 63 patients for one year after their surgery to see how well the repairs held up and how patients' knees felt and functioned. The goal was to gather real-world data on this already-approved medical device.
