New device aims to fix torn knee cartilage without repeat surgery

NCT ID NCT04228367

Summary

This study is checking how well and how safely a medical device called JuggerStitch works for repairing a torn meniscus (knee cartilage) after it has been approved for use. It will follow 104 patients for one year to see if their repair holds and if they need another surgery. The main goal is to confirm that the device successfully prevents the need for a second operation in most patients.
