New meningitis vaccine tested on hundreds of babies

Summary

This study is testing how well a meningitis vaccine works and how long its protection lasts in young children. It involves 660 children aged 6 to 23 months who receive the vaccine. A smaller group of these children will later receive a booster shot at age 3 to see if it strengthens their immunity.
