Summary
This study is evaluating a new diagnostic test called QIAstat-Dx ME Panel Plus that detects viruses and bacteria causing meningitis and encephalitis. Researchers will compare results from this new test against standard laboratory methods using leftover spinal fluid samples from 1,500 patients. The goal is to see if this test works accurately in real-world hospital settings to help doctors diagnose these serious infections faster.
