New combo therapy aims to improve AML treatment for patients with specific gene changes

Summary
This study tests a new drug (SNDX-5613) added to standard chemotherapy for adults newly diagnosed with a type of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) that has certain gene changes (NPM1 or MLL). The goal is to find the safest dose and see if the combination works better than chemo alone. About 28 people will take part in this early-phase trial.
